Another birthday

Eric came of age some time ago.
Today, he celebrates his 51st birthday.
To me that sounds so incredibly old,
particularly,
when I  feel so young!
He is well into being a quinquagenarian!

As he and I never married, we never really celebrate any anniversary or so.
It was, around his birthday that we sort of,
kind of,
 hooked up together.

It is amazing to me,
that I have known this man longer,
 than I knew my parents.
I have known him  for over half my life.

I have celebrated over 23 birthdays with him.

I just want to wish you,

 a very happy  51st birthday!
